Tomas Kaberle’s time as a Toronto Maple Leaf has finally come to an end. After 12 seasons in blue and white, the Maple Leafs have traded the veteran defenceman to the Boston Bruins in exchange for prospect centre Joe Colborne, the Bruins’ first round pick in 2011 and a conditional second round draft pick.

Islander's DiPietro out 4-6 weeks with face, Knee... →
New York Islanders goaltender Rick DiPietro is expected to miss the next four-to-six weeks with both facial fractures and knee swelling. DiPietro was felled in a fight with Pittsburgh Penguins’ goalie Brent Johnson on Wednesday. DiPietro has to be the most fragile player in the history of the NHL. He’s even worse than Salo….but,  only by a little bit.

Sabres Reach Deal With Billionaire Pegula on Sale... →
BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Sabres say owner Tom Golisano has agreed to sell the National Hockey League franchise and its related companies to Pennsylvania businessman Terry Pegula. The team says the agreement was completed Tuesday afternoon and is subject to NHL approval.
